Dr. Alex Omelchuk
Dr. Omelchuk’s story
- Recovering from Stroke - Dr. Omelchuk is a Canadian doctor with an impressive medical background. After experiencing a massive cerebellar aneurysm (stroke), he spent the next 12 years unable to return to a productive life, until understanding the role of nutrition in helping the body to heal itself.
Dr. Omelchuk Interview
- audio file - Medical views of the impossible are changing. Heart cells, brain cells, tendon cells, beta pancreatic cells are now known to regenerate when previously it was thought they didn’t. Patients with Parkinsons, spinal cord injuries, pancreatic cancer and other conditions have seen improvement.
UPDATE
Unfortunately, due to changes in the health field, doctors and researchers are not always allowed to tell others what they have seen with their own eyes or with their patients. Many peer review studies online, written by doctors, have been removed. Therefore, you may be noticing that it is increasingly difficult to find information online about glyconutrition. For that reason, you may find that the links above for articles and audios are no longer active, but are just used for advertising. That isn't how they began, and I'm disappointed too.
What can we say? The sugars, or glyconutrients, in fruits, vegetables, seaweeds, mushrooms, etc, are just food. They support normal body functions, and there are no claims that they can help any abnormal body condition, malady or disease.
It seems that we should no longer say that vitamin C cures scurvy, because that would be a disease claim, so we will not say that Vitamin C cures scurvy.
So all I, and the researching doctors, will say is "JUST EAT
THEM." Find them in your vine-ripened food, or supplement them.
