Specific Foreign Language Resources

If you're ready to start learning, or still just looking, you've found the right spot. You'll find numerous resources to help you learn specific foreign languages, many of them online for free.

Myself, I found it time-consuming trying to find foreign language resources for my family and friends, so I hope that our website helps you to avoid some frustration. Many of the foreign language search options I found were really just advertising directories listing possible sites, but many of the sites they listed proved to be of little value.

So you'll be glad to know that I've only included links to sites that I've actually checked out myself, and that I've found helpful. Each link includes a description of what the site covers, so that you can go straight to the site you're looking for.

As well, I've included the Weber language ranking system. After weighing six factors (number of primary speakers, number of secondary speakers, number and population of countries where used, number of major fields using the language internationally, economic power of countries using the languages, and socio-literary prestige) he has developed a ranking system. OK, so you're getting closer to deciding. I've found some great resources to help us. Mabye you'll get "language greedy" too. Check out the specific language links below:
