Arboretum - Guelph University The Arboretum is 408 acres (165 hectares) of spectacular green space with formal and natural gardens, 10 km of nature trails and 35 plant collections (more than 3000 trees and shrubs), over 400 species of woody plants, free from pesticides.

Dominion Arboretum - Ottawa

The Dominion Arboretum is located at the Central Experimental Farm of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It displays 1,700 different species and varieties Check the website for a list of trees and map of the nut trees.

The Arboretum is in zone 5a (zone 6 with microclimates). Temperatures can range from above 35ºC in the summer, to below -32ºC in the winter.

The arboretum is open from dawn to dusk and the admission is free.
