Treat Head Lice with Safer Alternative

If you're looking for a safer alternative treatment for head lice, I strongly recommend using tea tree oil, instead of the usual toxic choices like Lindane that can cause brain damage.

Here's some articles online for you to review on using tea tree oil for removal of head lice and how to do it.

The potential effectiveness of essential oils as a treatment for headlice, Pediculus humanus capitis

The Benefits of Tea Tree, in treatment of head lice and other conditions

For more info on the dangers of Lindane to people, including pesticide/insecticide information and trade names:

Personally, my family and I use shampoo and conditioners that have tea tree oil in them every day. Besides cleaning my hair nicely, and helping to prevent dandruff, it's also a safe precaution for my children not to get lice.

Using laundry detergent and cleaners with tea tree oil helps to stop the spread of lice through bed sheets, clothes, etc.

Feel free to contact me if you want to talk with me more about specific products, amounts and procedure.
