An informative site on the Endocrine System is "Pathophysiology of the Endocrine System", maintained by the Colorado State University.

They have also included a section on "self evaluations" that you can use to test your knowledge on the endocrine system.

What You Can Do to Help Your Endocrine System

There is much to be said about helping your Endocrine system. Since it's the system that helps you deal with stress, you can see how important it is to help it out (unless of course you never have to deal with stressful situations).

In a nut shell, one thing your endocrine system needs is the building blocks to make all it's many hormones, which control the body's many functions. What are some of the building blocks? - Amino acids (proteins) and plant sterols.

These may be obtained from a healthy diet. However, many of us busy people don't follow a healthy diet, and we have constant stress. In that case, you may find it helpful to supplement amino acids and plant sterols to help a deficiency, or you are dealing with adrenal exhaustion.
