Newfoundland and Labrador Home Schooling

What is Expected?

It is expected that children will be taught from the ages of 6 to 16.

You can send a Letter of Intent to your applicable School Board. The Map of School Boards will help you determine which School Board you are under - Eastern, Central, Western, Labrador or French School Board.

High School and Distance Education

Did you know that Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education also offers high school distance learning. This was first set up since many students in Newfoundland and Labrador live away from larger centres where more courses are available. Keep checking for an updated list of courses.
