Health and Wellness Guidelines and Principles

I recommend reading through the following general list of principles for health first, and then go back through each one.

After you understand each area, review the material with your children in a manner their age allows.

Find practical ways each day that you can teach health and wellness principles to your children, and repeat again and again and again.

By creating healthy life long habits for your family, you’ll give your children one of the best gifts you can give.

Wellness Guidelines

1) Drink more water

2) Get more fresh air

3) Eat more nutritious food

4) Get more sunlight - It will help you sleep better, and reduce the risk of depression. Sunlight helps your body make Vitamin D.

5) Think twice before agreeing to every vaccination or flu shot offered to your family. Does this surprise you? Did you know there is a large debate going on about the effectiveness and risks of vaccinations. Go to your favourite search engine and type in "vaccination debate". You might be very surprised. Make an informed decision, by asking health profesionals and other parents, and weighing the pros and cons for each vaccination option.
